================================================================================ END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT (EULA) ================================================================================ Font Software: SIN LIES SCORN Licensor: Carter Storm / CSfonts Contact: carter.s.storm@gmail.com This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal contract between you ("Licensee") and the Licensor. By downloading, installing, or using the Font Software, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, do not download or use the Font Software. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SECTION 1: GRANT OF LICENSE FOR PERSONAL USE -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Licensor grants the Licensee a non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide license to use the Font Software for Personal Use only, free of charge. * DEFINITION OF PERSONAL USE: Use strictly limited to private individual hobbies, school homework, or closed internal testing projects. No public display, organizational material, or physical manufacturing may result from the use of the Font Software under this tier. * PHYSICAL GOODS AND MERCHANDISE EXCLUSION: The creation of physical items-- including but not limited to t-shirts, clothing, stickers, decals, patches, posters, or any manufactured goods--is STRICTLY PROHIBITED under the free Personal Use tier. Printing the font on physical items always requires a commercial license, regardless of whether the items are sold or given away for free. * NON-PROFIT AND DONATION EXCEPTION: Utilization of the Font Software by non-profit entities, charitable organizations, or community projects is strictly prohibited under the free Personal Use tier if said utilization results in any form of financial collection. If any donations, contributions, or financial gifts are received--either directly or indirectly stemming from public advertisements, promotional materials, campaigns, or assets utilizing the Font Software--the user is legally required to purchase a Limited or Limited Lifetime Commercial License. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SECTION 2: COMMERCIAL USE RESTRICTIONS AND REQUIREMENTS -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Any use of the Font Software outside the strict definition of Personal Use requires the purchase of a specific Commercial License. Commercial Use without a separate, paid license is a violation of copyright law. * DEFINITION OF COMMERCIAL USE: Use of the Font Software in any project, product, service, promotion, physical production, or public display that relates to a business, trade, organizational activity, non-profit drive, or public advertisement. FOR THE AVOIDANCE OF DOUBT, ANY PUBLIC MATERIAL, ORGANIZATIONAL BRANDING, OR PHYSICAL ITEM PRODUCTION PERMANENTLY REQUIRES A COMMERCIAL LICENSE FEE, REGARDLESS OF REVENUE GENERATION. * APPLICABILITY: This requirement applies to local businesses, public advertisements, flyers, banners, client design work, social media channels, logos, web embedding (.woff and .woff2), and any physical merchandise production (such as shirts, stickers, decals, and packaging). -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SECTION 3: COMMERCIAL LICENSING TIERS AND EXPLICIT PRICING -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Commercial licensing fees are determined by the monetary value generated by the project, asset, or organization utilizing the Font Software. The explicit pricing, revenue caps, and renewal rates are defined as follows: 3.1 DONATION TIERS (DISCOUNTED GOODWILL RATES) *To qualify for these rates, the Licensee must provide verifiable proof to the Licensor that the project is strictly for donation or charitable purposes.* * Limited Donation License: Permits a maximum project-generated value of $500. The flat acquisition fee is $5.00 USD. Exceeding this cap requires a renewal at a discounted rate of $3.00 USD. * Limited Lifetime Donation License: Permits a maximum project-generated value of $2,500 over the operational lifetime of the asset. The flat acquisition fee is $15.00 USD. Exceeding this cap requires a renewal at a discounted rate of $12.00 USD. 3.2 SMALL BUSINESS TIERS (STANDARD COMMERCIAL FOR-PROFIT) * Standard Small Business License: Permits a maximum business-generated value of $500. The flat acquisition fee is $15.00 USD. Exceeding this cap requires a renewal at a discounted rate of $12.00 USD. * Standard Lifetime Small Business License: Permits a maximum business-generated value of $2,500 over the operational lifetime of the asset. The flat acquisition fee is $25.00 USD. Exceeding this cap requires a renewal at a discounted rate of $20.00 USD. 3.3 STANDARD COMMERCIAL TIERS (MID-SCALE PROJECTS) * Standard Commercial License: Permits a maximum project-generated value of $7,500. The flat acquisition fee is $50.00 USD. Upon exceeding this financial cap, renewal is required at the full standard price of $50.00 USD. * Standard Lifetime Commercial License: Permits a maximum project-generated value of $30,000 over the operational lifetime of the asset. The flat acquisition fee is $150.00 USD. Upon exceeding this financial cap, renewal is required at the full standard price of $150.00 USD. 3.4 ENTERPRISE TIER * Enterprise License: Mandatory for any corporate entities, distribution channels, or campaigns generating value exceeding $30,000. This tier requires a custom contract and price quote. * Upgrade Discount Rule: Standard Commercial License holders who exceed their financial caps are eligible for promotional discount considerations if they proactively choose to upgrade their account directly to an Enterprise License. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SECTION 4: COMMERCIAL ACQUISITION PROCESS -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Because licensing fees scale according to the flat-rate tiers defined in Section 3, a commercial license must be requested and paid for directly through the Licensor. * ACQUISITION PROCESS: The Licensee must contact the Licensor via the contact details provided at the top of this document to specify their required tier, provide proof of donation intent if applicable, and submit payment. * PROOF OF LICENSING: Upon receipt of payment via the approved payment channel, the Licensor will issue a written digital invoice or permission statement, which serves as the Licensee's official proof of legal commercial usage. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SECTION 5: PROHIBITED USES -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- * NO MODIFICATION: The Licensee may not decompile, reverse-engineer, modify, alter, or rename the Font Software files (.ttf, .otf, .woff, .woff2). * NO REDISTRIBUTION: The Licensee may not host, sell, bundle, or redistribute the Font Software files on any online directory, marketplace, or public platform without express written consent from the Licensor. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SECTION 6: GOVERNING LAW AND LIABILITY -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Licensor's jurisdiction. The Font Software is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. In no event shall the Licensor be liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the Font Software. ================================================================================
